Baby cots
Should you need a baby cot, we will be happy to provide you with one at no extra charge. Please contact Housekeeping (Ext. 2). Breakfast in bed If you would prefer to enjoy breakfast in your room, please dial 4 for Room Service. An additional charge applies.
Drinking water
Water from your bathroom taps is not suitable for drinking. Mineral water is availa-ble in all the resort’s restaurant outlets, through the mini-bar service and Room Service.
Electricity
The electric voltage at the resort is 220V Extra bed An extra bed can be provided on request. Please contact Reception (Ext. 0). Hairdryer A hairdryer is installed in your bathroom for your convenience. Housekeeping Housekeeping will clean your room daily. Should you have additional requirements, the Housekeeping Department is at your disposal 24 hours a day (Ext. 2). If you do not require Housekeeping to clean your room, please place the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your room’s outside door handle.
Laundry
For all your laundry needs, we kindly ask you to place your items in the bag provid-ed. For laundry pick-up, please contact Housekeeping (Ext. 7316). Laundry received by Housekeeping before 10 am will be returned on the same day after 6 pm. Laundry received after 10 am will be delivered on the following day af-ter 6 pm. For laundry and charges, please consult the laundry list in your wardrobe or contact Housekeeping (Ext. 2) or Reception (Ext.0).
Mini Bar
Besides the complimentary mineral water in your room, the Mini Bar in your room is empty. We provide a Mini Bar Service instead to ensure your requirements are perfectly met. Muslim Prayer
We indicate the direction of Mecca in our rooms for the convenience of guests wishing to carry out their daily prayers facing Islam’s holy city. The beautiful waters bordering the resort offer some of the world’s most extraordi-narily beautiful marine life and coral gardens. Scuba diving excursions and courses are available for beginners and experts, as well as boat trips and snorkel safaris for those who prefer to stay nearer the sunshine. The resort's state-of-the-art gym has everything you need to maintain your fitness and is complimentary for all hotel guests. Kids’ Club
For our special little guests, the Kids’ Club features multiple play areas stocked with games, Daily opening times: From 10 am – 1 pm, 3 pm – 5 pm Younger children have to be accompanied by their parents inside the Kids’ Club. A reservation is not required. Parents simply come to the Kids’ Club and fill out a registration form to admit each child. Please be aware parents are required to be on the hotel premises while their child is at the Kids’ Club. They will have fun with handcrafts, drawing, indoor sports, outdoor sports in the Kids’ Club playground, and a wide range of fun games. All Kids’ Club staff speak English.

Our Health Center provides you with a variety of massage treatments, as well as a Sauna room and a state-of-the Art gymnasium. Open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. Here at Dahab Lagoon Resort, we welcome you to our country and our resort with the Genuine warmth, characteristic of the region. All our staff members receive high levels of training in international hospitality service standards, to complement the authentic local style. To ensure you feel completely at home here, we respectfully provide this brief guide to local customs, traditions and language to assist the first-time visitor to Egypt.
Dress code
The dress code around the Red Sea varies depending on where you are in the re-gion. On the beach in Dahab, it’s fairly relaxed with normal swimwear including bi-kinis totally Acceptable. However, when venturing into a village or town, women are advised to wear either trousers or a long skirt (below knee length) with a shoulder-covering top. Alternatively, a scarf works very well as a wrap-around or shoulder wrap. For men, shorts and a T-shirt is satisfactory.
At the Resort
We respectfully request that guests dress appropriately for dining in our restau-rants and bars during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests wishing to enter our restaurants in swimwear will be asked to change. Shorts are acceptable during breakfast and lunch, but not in the evening. Please note topless sunbathing on the beach or at the pools is illegal in Egypt. Whatever you decide to wear, the one thing that will please everyone you meet is a friendly smile!

If the alarm sounds at any time during your stay, please evacuate the building via the nearest emergency exit and make your way to the designated fire assembly point.
